Andrea wasn't sure if she could go on without Eckhart now. The world seemed lonelier and emptier now. Varady tried to get Andrea to go for one of her long walks. She would even join her she said. I need the exercise myself. But Andrea refused. Varady kept telling her she had to move on. It's what Eckhart would have wanted her to do. What about Blue Rose? You can't let that go. Varady told her.
Varady suggested Andrea go for a ride on her horse Bene. Varady tried to get Andrea to do a lot of things. Varady's husband told her to let Andrea do what she was doing. She would eventually snap out of it. Varady wasn't so sure. Not only was Eckhart gone. So was Adam. Andrea lost the two men in her life she really and genuinely cared about. Andrea felt alone. Breedlove wasn't even here to help comfort her. Varady told her husband she couldn't allow Andrea to give up. She needed to move on and accept both mens' deaths. It was the only way.

Varady was glad to see Andrea getting up on her horse Bene. Varady asked if she didn't want her coming along. She dared not get on a horse though, but she would walk with her. Andrea said it was alright. She wanted to be alone.
**************************
When Andrea came back after an hour and a half, Varady was waiting for her sitting on a bench. Next to her was a man in a suit. He looked important. Andrea headed for the barn to put Bene back in her stall. Varady followed her in. Varady told Andrea who the gentleman was. She was surprised to hear that he was Adam's attorney. Are you sure? Andrea asked. Yes, said Varady. Andrea closed the barn doors behind her.
Rather than shake the man's hand, Andrea asked him why she should be talking to him. The Man introuduced himself as Bernard Gordon. He then answered that it had to do with Adam's will. Andrea was confused. As was Varady.
Andrea wasn't sure what to think or say when Gordon told her that Adam had left Mutant X and Sanctuary to her. She asked why. Because Adam felt he knew he was leaving both in good hands.
