The premise has changed and the children of both Mutant X & Genomex have grown and are attending their school-age schools respectively. Adam Kane lost Mutant X 10 years ago but is hoping to renew his one-time mutant protection group. Mason Eckhart has not only brought back Genomex and the GSA (Genetic Security Agency) back to life, but he has also merged his firms with Nexxogen and the Dominion.
Adam continues his search for Shalimar Fox and Brennan Mulwray while he continues to remember Emma DeLauro and Jesse Kilmartin and the sacrifices they made to Mutant X. Plus also, where is Lexa Pierce?
A lot has changed and while Adam & Eckhart have progressed in their personal lives, their differences about the mutant situation has not. Adam is hoping to find new groups he has heard about from various sources before Eckhart can.
