Ty Treadway will return to One Life to Live October 1-2 for a dream sequence filmed on the set of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. He'll once again play villain Colin MacIver (who died in 2001), only this time Colin is the host of So You Think You Can Be Shane Morasco's Father. "Rex gets shot, and as his life hangs in the balance on the operating table, he has a dream where his life flashes before him in a game-show format," reports Treadway. "As he competes against Brody over who gets to be little Shane's dad, all his past misdeeds are calle into question." Treadway adds, "It was a blast getting to sit in the big Regis-and-Meredith chair," and that's more excitement than he's getting from his own game show these days.
Treadway, who hosts the syndicated Merv Griffin's Crossword, says, "Even though we were picked up by 95 percent of the country for a second season, there seem to be complications in setting Merv's estate, and they're dragging their feet about new episodes. We were supposed to be back on the air in September. They'll keep showing old episodes until they figure out what's going on."
