Eckhart had arrived at Andrea's house to find her not there. Her handyman Douglas had told Eckhart that Andrea had gone off on her usual ride with Bene. If he wanted to, Douglas could mount up Brave for him so he could join Andrea. Eckhart said no. He would wait. Douglas than left for the day and told Eckhart Andrea shouldn't be long before he left. Eckhart thanked him. Eckhart walked around the dirted driveway and the barn. He saw Brave just standing there in his stall eating away at the hay. Eckhart could see Andrea no doubt was treating Brave like royalty. He then went and stood just outside the barn. He then saw Andrea approaching. Angel was walking beside her and Bene. Andrea saw Eckhart from afar. She somehow wasn't surprised he was here. She had practically kicked him out of her car the day before telling him they had nothing to talk about anymore. Then she told him to call off his dogs who had been following her. It was a little too late for that.
What Eckhart had done to Lexa and Leo Pierce seemed to be the last straw for her. There was no justification for what he did to them. No excuse. There were no words Eckhart could say to make the situation right. No apology. No forgiveness. This was not going away. Just as the fact that he had wanted Danielle Hartman back; he wanted Emma deLauro for her powers and then Lexa Pierce came and she was pushed out of her home, so to speak and then she practically took over the GSA.
Andrea then cruelly asked Eckhart if he had a thing for stealths. She left Genomex to work at its southern affiliate. But only after six months, Andrea left Genomex altogether and opened Blue Rose, a security and bodyguard service. Eckhart lost touch with Andrea. She never returned his calls or emails. She even told Varady once he didn't need her-he had his precious Lexa. Varady told her she knew Mason wasn't like that. She knew him better than that. Andrea said maybe she didn't after all.
