Typecasting doesn't get more delicious than this. In a riff on a famous plot from 1967, One Life to Live will celebrate its 40th anniversary July 21-22 by having Viki (Erika Slezak) take another out-of-body trip to heaven. The Creator will be played by OLTL's very own creator, Agnes Nixon. The 80-year old uberlegend---who also gave us All My Children---will first be seen watching Viki die in a car crash from a celestial television studio. Then the two have a face-to-face. "I was so starstruck working with Erika that I developed a case of stage fright," Nixon admits. "But she was very reassuring. Somehow she transfixed me with those eyes ans suddenly I felt God's in his heaven; all right with the world!" Adds Nixon with a laugh: "It was quite the learning experience. I now realize I was meant to write dialogue, not memorize it!"
